The level in which I will implement my teaching unit is 4th grade of elementary education. As the school has three lines, they have asked me to implement it with the three groups. The English specialist who I am always with is Georgina, and she's the English teacher of those three classes.

Two of the groups are formed by 28 students and the other one by 27. The only group I know before doing my implementation is the last one, because I have not previously been with the others. In general, the one I know, is a really active group, which sometimes is positive but in other cases not at all.  It's really difficult for them to behave well in the classroom and to concentrate for a long time. The class is usually noisy and it's hard to get them in silence and focused.

The relationships between students are most of them positive, and it's not a troublesome group in that sense. They are used to work together in groups, so it won't be a problem. Moreover, they are arranged in groups of 4 students, so it will be easier when it comes to work cooperatively.

Regarding their level of English, it's not really high but it's not low at all either considering their age. In general, the students' English level in the whole school is quite high. I have been analising during these last weeks the activities the teacher did with them and how they performed, so that now I have a clear idea of the kind of exercises they are able to do successfully.

In the group I have been with, there is not any case of special needs. Of course there are some students with a more advanced level and some others with a lower one and more difficulties, but all of them do the same activities in all the classes I have been observing.

In relation to the use of technology in the classroom, the school has a set of iPads that are used by all the students in elementary education grades, and if some group needs to use them, the teacher has to ask for having them during that certain time. That is what I will do in the lessons that I need them, so  that every student can have an iPad.
